J & K Cutting Tools Group Ltd. have traded now for 12 years establishing a reputation for quality, service and reliability supplying a complete range of workshop tools, inserts, coolants, oils and general workshop supplies.
In January 2004 the company acquired Carson Joel Engineering a well established sub contract first stage machining operation, offering machining services to major steel stockist's and forges throughout the UK.
As of the 1st December 2004, J & K Cutting Tools Group Ltd have been appointed as the main U.K. distributor for the VALENITE SAFETY range of products, we are also the northern Regional Distributor for the Cimcool range of Metalwork Cutting Fluids and our associate company J & K Technical Services Ltd will be responsible for these elements of our operations.
In December 2005 the group relocated all activities into larger new premises situated on Callywhite Lane, Dronfield, Derbyshire, providing extra working and stocking area’s along with excellent access to the motorway network. We pride ourselves on our service and understand our customer’s needs with regard to manufacturing pressures, to that end our extensive stock and access to the major manufacturers direct sales lines allows us to supply most items within 24 hours or sooner. In the case of Valenite products if items are not stocked in the UK we can usually obtain goods direct from the USA within 10 – 14 days from order placement.
Our aim is to build long term relationships with our customers, working with them to ensure maximum performance and productivity is obtained at a competitive price. Being U.K. and Regional main distributor’s allows us to utilise the huge technical resources available from the worlds leading tooling manufacturers to offer first class pre and after sales service. Our skilled engineers are prepared to visit your facility to assess your operations, and carry out any cutting trials and performance analysis necessary to ensure that you the customer obtain the optimum performance levels from our products. We also are able to offer specialist tooling design and manufacturing services to ensure older type tooling can continue to be utilised when components fail or wear out.
